One Village Dance Centre

One Village Dance Centre is a place that houses the programs of two separate dance organizations, Wacheva Cultural Arts and Parents Promoting Dance.

THE STORY OF ONE VILLAGE
One Village Dance Centre is the manifestation of the “Homestead Project:” an initiative that brought together Wacheva Cultural Arts and Parents Promoting Dance when both organizations were displaced after the studio that housed them, the Onondaga Dance Institute, lost its space due to eminent domain.

The Homestead Project was envisioned by the founders of One Village, Cheryl Wilkins Mitchell and Vince Sgambati.
